It's been a big month!

I signed up the kids to this challenge for several reasons. Of course the MS readathon is a great way to raise money for MS and to also get kids involved in reading, but with all that's happened this year, I wanted a way of also distracting the kids AND to increase their reading which I felt had fallen by the wayside - especially for Stirling.

It's Sunday evening and I realised we hadn't logged any of their books as yet. Madison is going well and ready a couple of big books this month along some of her favourites. Stirling recently celebrated a birthday and got a Pokemon Box Set of books and he's been working through those.

I'm so proud of all they have achieved so far this month and they are going to aim to read at least a book a day between now and the end of the month so let's see how we go.

Next year I will make sure I sign myself up and even my mother (she has been reading like crazy this year). Perhaps we can raise more next year for such a worthy cause.
