Reading is our life
Books have always been a huge part of Ava's life.
At just 3 years old, she already has thousands of books behind her. We joined the 1000 Books Before School challenge in 2023 and reached our first 1,000 books in March 2024. We kept going, reaching 2,000 books in October 2024 and 3,000 books in June 2025.
Reading is woven into our daily routine. We read at bedtime, in the mornings, at daycare and kinder, and during countless library visits. Some books are read once, while favourites are requested again and again.
Although Ava isn't reading independently yet, she loves stories, characters, rhymes, and turning pages. The MS Readathon is a wonderful opportunity to continue nurturing her love of books while raising funds for an important cause.

Hi! I'm Ava and I'm 3 years old.
I might not be able to read the words myself just yet, but I absolutely LOVE books! Throughout the MS Readathon, my mum will be reading lots of stories to me as we explore adventures, meet new characters, and grow my love of reading.
