Our journey
Thanks so much for anyone checking in and donating. Lucas read at least 1 book a night for all but 1 night in August. He often read the same book and in the future we would like more variety, but we are proud of his reading from memory and growing knowledge or sounds and sight words. Lucas had had a great start to the challenge. He is reading Play With Elmo every night using his knowledge of sight words and his memory. His little brother also joins in and has a turn at reading from memory also. We plan to read a wider variety of books but are happy with Lucas's motivation.
