Arthur is grade 5 and the ultimate bookworm, having once read over 40 books in a year. Having set a great example for his siblings with his reading habits.
Otis is in grade 3 and dedicated to his reading and currently sitting on well over 100 nights reading this year.
Which is a HUGE milestone, he didn't start reading until the end of grade 1. He was diagnosed with Severe Childhood Apraxia of Speech, a rare speech disorder. During his early years of school he was scared to speak up in class in fear of not being understood. At time of diagnosis he was classes 30% intelligible.
Eilea is just beginning her reading journey, and we are hoping this fundraiser will push her along and help her enjoy reading like her brothers.
