Day 13

Day 13 continues with yet another graphic novel. And plugging away at a detective novel. 

Day 12

Day 12 continues the graphic novel run, this time with a historic angle. 

Day 11 - Are vampires alive?

Day 11 is library day at school so the graphic novels were refreshed. Norah delved into the world of Dracula, which then lead to a bunch of questions about the un-dead...

Day 10 - DEAR

Drop Everything And Read sounds like a fabulous way to spend some time in the afternoon at school. 

Day 9 - The Day the Crayons Quit

Day 9 saw a couple of recently started booked finished off, and a very funny bedtime story to end the day :)

Day 8 - trip to the library

Today included a trip to the library to pick up some books from the suggested list. Norah dipped into a few across the day. 

Day 7 - mystery

Day 7 sees Norah enter the realm of mystery novels for kids.

Reading a fairytale bedtime story to the grown-ups tonight.

Day 4 - inspiration from giraffes

Between Tuesday afternoon activities we managed to squeeze in one book at bedtime :)

Day 3 - musical influence

Day 3 and Norah chose two books to get her half way to her target of 60 books for the month. We then listened to a couple of songs by some of the artists celebrated in Our Home, Our Heartbeat. 

Day 2 - Little Miss Curious

Day 2 saw a whole pile of Little Miss books, and a dip into Philosophy for curious minds with Nietzsche. 

Day 1

Day 1 saw Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban finished, and 16 other books read! Off to a strong start to the month :)
