Welcome to our reading journey!
Hi everyone! We are Brodie and Madeline, and we are so excited to be taking part in this year's MS Readathon!
Every year, thousands of people across the country are affected by Multiple Sclerosis (MS). MS is a disease that affects the brain and spinal cord, making it hard for people's nerves to send messages properly. It can make people feel very tired, affect their vision, and make moving around difficult. There is no cure yet, but the money we raise helps provide vital care, nurses, and support for families living with MS.
Because we absolutely love reading, we knew we had to help out! Here is what we are reading this year:
- Brodie's Chapter Book Adventures: I love diving into chapter books filled with exciting adventures and challenging scenarios. I’m always looking to see if my heroes can solve the mystery or save the day!
- Madeline's Prep Progress: I'm in Prep this year and learning to read like a superstar. I practice every single day and my reading is coming along brilliantly. I can't wait to turn lots of pages!
Our team goal is to raise $100 to help make a real difference for families dealing with MS.
