The challenge has begun
Maddie loves reading, so on first impression, this challenge isn't tough for her as she is always picking up a book. However, this week she has started to read the books that encourage her to read on her own. They are usually three word sentences and words are no longer than three letters long. She sounds out each letter, then joins the sounds together until she understands what the word is and then builds the sentence. This is the the next challenge in her reading ability and she has embraced it, just in time for the MS Readathon to commence. This is why we chose 'learning to read' as her readathon goal. She is so proud of her new skill and is so please to be doing it for a great cause. She asked if her next challenge can be to raise money for a charity for Daddy's illness.Your support helps kids fall in love with reading
We're asking for donations! Can you help? Your support inspires us to reach our reading goals this August. You're giving more than just encouragement!
