Our Why

As parents, we are always looking for ways to support Amelia's growth, learning, and confidence. One of the most important habits we are encouraging is a love of reading.

Reading opens up a world of imagination, adventure, and learning. Through books, Amelia can explore new places, meet interesting characters, and discover things she may never have encountered before. It helps develop her language and communication skills, builds her vocabulary, and supports her learning at school.

We also love that reading gives us an opportunity to spend quality time together as a family. Whether it's reading a bedtime story, looking through picture books, or listening to Amelia read to us, these moments create special memories while helping her develop important literacy skills.

Reading teaches more than just words on a page. It helps children develop empathy, understand different perspectives, and build confidence as they learn and grow. We hope that by encouraging Amelia to read every day, we are helping her develop a lifelong love of books and learning.

Participating in the Read-a-thon is a wonderful way for Amelia to stay motivated and excited about reading. We are proud of the effort she is putting in and look forward to seeing her continue to grow as a reader.
