Participating in my 1st MS Read-a-Thon

Using my need to win at everything to help raise money for MS

It has been many years since I completed the MS readathon but it still brings back fond memories of trying to read 100 books in one month and also needing to beat everyone else at reading and getting donations for a great cause.

My goals are no longer so lofty - a mere 20 books in a month will do me just fine. As many of you know my goal for reading in general is always 69 books per year (haha) and so it seems fitting that my donation goal is also $690.

This year I have read 58 books at the time of writing this post. My additional goal is to read 69 books before July 1.

According to my Storygraph statistics, the most books per month I have read this year is 16 in the month of May. The average length of the books I read are 300-400 pages and I would like to keep to this average during the challenge as well.

If you would like to follow along my pre-readathon challenge, my Storygraph username is @frogeman9000.

I would encourage everyone to either donate or join me in beating their personal reading goals, whether it be 1 book or 100 books to support a great cause and enjoy some friendly reading competition!
