Lilly’s MS Readathon Journey
Meet Lilly, a bright and enthusiastic 5 year old Foundation student who is taking part in the MS Readathon Challenge this August!
Lilly has always loved stories. Whether it's listening to books being read aloud at home, in the classroom, or before bedtime, she enjoys being transported to different worlds through the magic of storytelling. From adventurous characters to funny animals and exciting fairy tales, every story captures her imagination and helps her learn something new.
As she begins her reading journey, Lilly is developing her confidence and skills as an emerging reader. She loves looking at pictures, recognising familiar words, and sounding out new letters and sounds. Every book she listens to and reads helps her grow as a learner.
This August, Lilly has set herself an exciting challenge: to enjoy 100 books during the MS Readathon while raising $100 to support people living with multiple sclerosis. She is excited to explore new stories, share books with family and friends, and work towards both of her goals throughout the month.
By taking part in the MS Readathon, Lilly is not only building a lifelong love of reading but also helping to make a difference in the lives of others. Every book read and every dollar raised will contribute to important support services and research for people affected by MS.
