My Sob Story

In June of 2025 I was hospitalized for just over a week (spending my 21st birthday there) with no feeling from my waist to my toes. At the time nobody knew what was wrong with me and every doctor was baffled.

Around August the same year I received a phone call from the neurologists looking after me, telling me that I had MS.

It took me a long time to get better both mentally and physically, only getting full feeling back in November of 2025. I found the diagnosis very hard to come to terms with, for a long time I wondered what I had done to deserve this.

I am lucky that I am able to get preventative treatment to help manage my symptoms, which I have been on since December 2025. I am also lucky that it was caught early and the treatment has helped so far. But I know that my story and circumstances don't reflect what others with this same disease have been through. I understand how lucky I am in that regard.

I wanted to do my part to raise money to support those who need these services, and their families who go through just as much. One day myself and my family may need access to resources like these, and knowing it will be there when that time comes is a comforting thought.

So if you have even $2 to spare, you are helping make a great impact on so many lives.

And to everyone who has donated so far, thank you so much. It means the world that so many in my life care as much as I do <3
