My Own Neurological Setback
I had a major seizure last week and managed to give myself a severe concussion, which I am still feeling the impact of. I spent three days in bed with a migraine, then had to go to Albany Hospital to get some scans done to make sure there was no fractures or brain bleeds (luckily they were all clear). I am still experiencing headaches, but they're more bearable now. However, this is greatly impacting my ability to not only reach my reading goal, but to get out and about to actively fundraise and get sponsors. In the 37 years that I have been participating in the MS Readathon, I have never failed to reach my fundraising goal and I am hoping that this year will be no different. After all, I know exactly what it is like to live with a neurological condition and how it impacts on daily life.Tackling the TBR pile!
I  currently have over 5,000 physical books on my shelves that I want to read. This year I’m hoping to reduce my pile as much as possible, as I read my way to my MS Readathon pledge of 100 books before the end of August.ÂYour support helps kids fall in love with reading
