A child who loves reading today can help change someone's life tomorrow
Books have been part of Avani's life since she was a tiny baby. At first, she would simply stare at the pictures. Slowly, she began holding the books, sometimes mouthing them. Soon she was turning pages, pointing at characters, and asking for "just one more story."
Today, at 5 years old, she owns close to 80 books. Books are a big part of her world. Our little library has grown with her, and so has her imagination, curiosity, and love for learning.
This August, Avani is excited to participate in the MS Readathon. She will read as many books as possible and every book she reads helps raise funds to support people living with multiple sclerosis and other neurological conditions.
Along with nurturing her love of reading, we also want Avani to learn the importance of kindness, generosity, and empathy. I hope this experience helps her understand that every act of giving, no matter how small, can make a meaningful difference in someone else's life, and that we all have the power to help others.
If you would like to encourage her, we would be incredibly grateful if you could support her with a donation at bow link. Every contribution, no matter the size, helps make a difference.
