You Really Should Stay Out of the Basement. Really.
This was a fun read! I enjoyed the twists along the way, and again, Stine doesn't treat children as less than. I give this one a three out of five, just because the subject matter was slightly less interesting to me. And again, there were some cheap tricks here and there, but so far these are still fun to read as an adult : )Book One Down!
I finished reading the first Goosebumps book of the month, Welcome to Dead House! I liked it, and gave it four out of five stars. There is some cheap writing (obvious fake out cliffhangers at the end of some chapters for example), but it was also quite good. I like that R.L. Stine didn't speak down to his audience, or treat them like idiots.Your support helps kids fall in love with reading
